What data leaves our network?
Telemetry counters and normalized query shapes. The agent strips literals and parameters before anything is sent, makes only outbound calls, and pgeye never connects to your database.
What counts as a server?
One Postgres instance - one running process the agent connects to. A primary and its replica are two separate servers, even though they share the same data.
Which Postgres versions are supported?
PostgreSQL 14 through 18. The full test suite - server and agent - runs against all five majors on every change, TimescaleDB included.
Does it work with RDS and other managed Postgres?
Yes. The agent connects with an ordinary connection string and reads only SQL-visible statistics - nothing installs on the database host, so there is nothing for a managed provider to block. It needs the pg_stat_statements extension, which every major provider offers.
What does Enterprise actually add?
An SLA, on-prem deployment, and no limits. That's it - Team already gets SAML SSO, every alert channel, and every dashboard we ship. Enterprise is about where pgeye runs and how we support you, not unlocked features.
What if I have more than 5,000 tables?
Most clusters stay well under it, heavily partitioned ones included. If you have a multi-tenant cluster or a very large schema, Enterprise has no cap at all.
What happens if I stop paying?
You drop to Free: one server, one day of history. The agent keeps running and your dashboards stay live - pick up where you left off whenever you're ready.
How is "1 GB per day" measured?
The size of telemetry the agent ships, summed per server over a 24-hour rolling window. It's a soft cap: we'll email you well before anything throttles, and the agent has knobs to bring volume down.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Your subscription runs to the end of the current month, then stops. No early-termination fees, nothing to phone in.
Do you offer self-hosting?
Yes, on Enterprise: an on-prem deployment for environments where telemetry can't leave the building. Reach out and we'll talk.
What's the catch with Free?
One server, one day of history, one user - and alerting plus SAML SSO stay with Team. The dashboards themselves are the full product at full fidelity. When you want "when did this start?" or your whole team in the room, that's Team.
Is pgeye free for open-source projects?
